スティーヴ・ルカサー・モデル“LIII”最大の特徴は、自身のシグネチャーのピックアップであるディマジオ“Transition”にミュージックマン･オリジナルのプリアンプを組み合わせた仕様で、ナチュラルなパッシブ･トーンをゲイン･ブーストさせることが可能です。ローステッド・メイプル・ネック仕様で、ピックアップのレイアウトはHHとHSSのバリエーションがあります。ローステッド・メイプル・ネックとは、特殊工法により含水率を下げ、長年弾きこまれる事で起こる経年変化と同様の効果を得る処理を施し、あたかもヴィンテージ・ギターを弾いているような触り心地、鳴りを実現しました。
