Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass HTは、成長を続けるErnie Ball Music Manファミリーの最新版です。従来のCutlassのシェイプとフィーリングを踏襲しつつ、10年以上に渡るギター弦に関する研究から生まれたミュージックマンの新しいカスタム・ピックアップ・テクノロジーを搭載、非常にダイナミックでレスポンスの良い弾き心地を実現しています。このピックアップは、超高出力かつパワフルなローエンドのレスポンスを実現しながらも、小音量ではクリーンでクリアなトーンを作り出すことが可能です。3基のHT（Heat Treated）ピックアップは、特許出願中のポールピースと大型ネオジム・マグネットを採用し、際立った鮮明さを実現しています。ブリッジ・ピックアップにはプレーン・エナメル・マグネット・ワイヤーをオーバーワウンドして力強くパワフルなトーンを、ネックとミドル・ピックアップにはヘビー・フォームバー・マグネット・ワイヤーをアンダーワウンドし、より伝統的な音色を実現しています。これら3つのピックアップは、5つのスイッチ・ポジションすべてにおいて補完的なトーンが効くように設計されています。さらに、プッシュ／プッシュ・アジャスタブルの20dBブースト機能とトランスペアレント・バッファード・アウトプットを搭載し、ボリューム・コントロールの設定に関わらず、トーンの一貫性を保つことができます。Cutlass HTは、コンター加工されたアルダー・ボディ、ロースト・フィギュアド・メイプル・ネック、22ステンレス・フレット、シャーラー・ロッキング・チューナー、ミュージックマン・ヴィンテージ・トレモロなど、これまでのオリジナルのCutlassと多くのスペックが共通しています。

The Cutlass HT pickups are able to achieve an ultra-high-output, powerful low-end response while retaining a distinctively clean, clear tone at lower volume levels. This set of three HT (Heat Treated) pickups uses patent-pending pole pieces and a large neodymium magnet which provides remarkable definition and clairity. All three pickups have been crafted for a complimentary tonal offering across all five switch positions.
The Cutlass HT preamp boost is activated by a push-push volume knob and is factory set to 12db. Via a trim pot inside the control cavity, the preamp can be adjusted up to 20db if needed for heavy rhythm parts or high octane soloing whenever the user chooses.
No matter where your volume control is set, the transparent buffered output preserves your signal from high-frequency loss and keeps your tone bright and strong.
The Cutlass HT uses our patented Silent Circuit, which generates a hum signal that’s out of phase with the hum signal being produced by each single-coil pickup. Essentially, the silent circuit is creating and infusing opposite frequencies generated by the actual pickup to neutralize the sound of the hum. What you hear is the pure unadulterated natural tone of the pickup without the annoying 60-cycle buzz.
